OOC: This is a "What if scenario", the reason why its in the fiction section. :3 Anyway, in this "What if" Leilah is caught by HHS.
Leilah breathed in quickly, her black-grey eyes shifted to one end to the other, iron bars blocked her from side to side and a gray brick wall, she had no where to go. She gave a loud whimper as she tugged her bound arms that were tied to her back, chained together. She make weak squeak of desperation, she wanted OUT. The chain to her arms was linked to the wall behind her, and it clacked happily as she tried to free herself.
Her breathing became erratic, her heart felt like it was about to explode but she wasn't going to stop, she didn't want to be here.
She gave a loud cry, tears that filled her eyes finally fell, and she screamed. She wanted her big brother Lionel, she wanted her sister Ryelle; she did not want to be here!
She was in a panic, this wasn't supposed to happen, she wasn't suppose to get caught! She shook her head harshly at the thought of what happened. They were in their hideout, they were supposed to be protected...protected enough against the HHS. They stormed in as usual but this time it went differently, it felt different. Never had the HHS ever had their eyes on the inner circle of their rebel group.
It was quick and terrifying, Leilah had tried to run away but she was caught. She screamed and went into panic as she was being pulled into the vehicle, her eyes desperately searching for Lionel and Ryelle. Before the doors closed she reached her hands out to see her brother being held back by the other rebel members, she didn't see her sister but she was probably in the same situation as their brother.
Leilah was quickly separated by the hybrids and put in a cage by herself. Being alone didn't scare her, it was the scientific entrustments that was laid out in front of her. One of her fears were to become a pet, she didn't want that...she wanted OUT!
She cried again and thrashed against her restraints, her head pounding in her ears raged at her failed attempts. She should be stronger than this, why wasn't she getting out? Something....something must be wrong!
Leilah gave a final cry before squeezing her eyes closed, her tears cascading down her cheeks as she sagged down to the floor. She winced when her knees connected harshly to the ground. She breathed in trying to calm herself, her body shook in fear, the process of becoming a pet wasn't something was looking forward to.
There was a moment of stillness, her heart was still beating rapidly and though her body stopped shaking and was now shuddering instead. She wanted to gag, the smell of the sterile yet bloody room sickened her. She did not want to discover what happened here but she could take a wild guess. The room was pure white and the fluorescent lights made the room even more frightening. It made her eyes hurt from looking at the whiteness of the room.
When she thought that there would be time to relax her body and think of a plan to escape the door to the white room slammed opened. Leilah jumped as the sound vibrated and bounced off the walls in the white room. Her grey-green eyes widened and dilated at the sight, a group of people walked in the room, some wearing lab and some wearing uniforms of the HHS.
Her tail suddenly went stiff, her ears stood up in alert and her body straightened, these people weren't here just to say "Hello" She watched them as some laughed and some readied their clipboards and pens. A man wearing a lab coat went to a machine off to the right, it smelt strongly of anxiety. She couldn't tell if it was from the previous hybrids that were caged here before her or from the people in the lab coats.
Her hands clenched as one of the members of the HHS group came close to the cage, her eyes wide as she stared.
The young man, snorted as he watched Leilah from outside the cage "She doesn't look all that threatening to me" He said as he put his arms on his waist, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, from the looks of it he looks fairly young and new to the gig. He obviously didn't know the procedures because after he said that another member of the HHS came, grabbed his arm and pulled him away.
"You shouldn't underestimate it like that" the woman sneered.
Another woman in a lab coat came around and smack an electric stick on the bars, she smirked "Let's see how dangerous they are" she smack the stick again against the bars, this time making Leilah lunge at them.
Leilah gave a threatening snarl at the stick, she's been touched by it before and hurt like hell, way worse than the time she got electrocuted on her own. The humans knew how to manipulate the force of the shock, even going higher then vaults in the dome....well that's what Jax told her anyway.
"Quit messing around, we need to get this data recorded before going further" The man in the lab coat said as he stood next to the man by the machine. The occupants in the room pulled on special like eye covers and got everything ready; one even set up a video camera–though uncommon in the new Victorian age–it was wise to use on in these types of...experiments.
The woman that had sneered at her before smirked, "You'll get what you deserve, hybrid." As she said this the man operating the machine grabbed a handle and pulled it down.
All of a sudden, the chains that kept her in place suddenly become hot. Leilah screamed as a vault of electricity shot throughout the chains and into her body, jolting her from her sitting place. While the people watched what was happening, Leilah screamed in pain.
Leilah fell breathless to the floor, twitching in pain, her screams stuck in her throat, and her forehead touched the floor. Her eyes were wide and wavering, there–she noticed the first time the washed yet stained floor of the cage...
She didn't noticed it at first, it was faint but it frightened her that she was seeing it now. It was like showing her impending doom. She rolled her body a bit to the side before letting out a yell that she failed to produce before. She could hear the scratches of the pen on paper and the camera continuing to document what was happening.
Once her screaming stopped and tears fell down her face a man in a lab coat came close to the bars, he used a large metal stick to raise her face to his. Her mouth opened as she continued to struggle to draw in breath, salvia running down the side of her mouth. Her teary eyes wavered before steadying on the man's face.
He smirked. "We'll have fun with you, a member of the hybrid rebels," he snickered "–what a treat, indeed. You know," he cocked his head "You'll make a wonderful pet after we break you" he grinned before laughing.
Leilah's worst, most terrifying fear was becoming true. This is what she feared.
